Season under way...

How quickly time passes. Already we have gone into “summer mode” for the start of our evening league games. At the beginning of the season we started play at 6.30PM but from May 14th this was altered to 7PM and then from August 1st this will revert to 6.30 again.

We held a very successful open day on May 5th and we were blessed with wonderful weather. Several visitors have now joined and we hope they enjoy bowling.

Our season is well and truly underway although several teams in the leagues are struggling to field enough players. We are fortunate at the club to have a very healthy membership but not all members want to take part in league games, preferring to do more “social” bowling. Hopefully more can be encouraged to sign up for the leagues in order to keep the teams going.

Please feel free to pop up to the clubhouse on any Tuesday or Friday afternoon from 2PM and talk to members if you’re at all interested in finding out more about the club.
