The new season beckons...

Well, we are almost ready to open up for the new season.

A lot of work to prepare the green has taken place during the early autumn and now, as we await spring, we can see the fruits of the greenkeeper’s labours!! Weather permitting, we hope to open the green to members from Saturday April 12th. The first league games commence towards the end of April.

The club will be hosting an open afternoon on Sunday May 11th from 2.30pm. You will find the bowls club on Sudbrooke Lane, almost opposite the turning to Brookfield Avenue. If you or anyone you know is interested in finding out about bowling, please come along or contact us via the website. You don’t need bowls, just flat footwear and a “sense of adventure“ for trying something new!!

We are a very friendly club and, as well as bowling from April through to early September, we have several social events throughout the winter-notable ones this past year have included quizzes, a race night and singalong sessions. Looking forward to seeing everyone, especially some new faces.
